Howsem Huang is a graphic designer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Holding BFA degrees in photography and graphic design, his main practices include publication design, publishing, and Risography. Worked as a design fellow at Chronicle Books, he has designed books such as Young Queer American, Living While Black, LEGO In Focus.
As a photobook artist Howsem’s artist practice explores his intersecting identity as a Cantonese-Chinese and a Chinese émigré. He has shown works in Boston University Art Galleries, IS A GALLERY, and SF Camerawork.
