世界末日大平賣(Doomsday Sale), a photo book consists of a series of markets scenes photographed in Chinatown, San Francisco. By introducing different materials in the book design, the cardboard and the clothespin invite the readers to interact with the object. This artist book serves as a conceptual questioning of Huang’s intersecting identity as a Cantonese-Chinese and the life outside of a motherland that he feels
conflicted with.
