photo book
intertwined is a photo book for my photography senior thesis. It consists of photographs taken in three protests, the Anti-extradition Bill Movement in Hong Kong, San Francisco Women’s March in 2020, and a rally demonstrating anti-Asian attacks in San Francisco and New York in 2020. The transformed images decontextualize the locations and timeliness of those events, showing the beauty of chaos that people have created to fight against authoritarian governments.
All copies of the book is handbound. The cover can be unfolded into a 20x24 inches photo print.
